Now you can inspire your love interest, bestie, or nemesis!

Today we’re excited to introduce the ability to inspire the NPCs in your stories ✨

One consistent bit of feedback across playtests is that we all want some influence over who ends up in a significant role in our stories — whether it’s a love interest, rival, arch-nemesis, or friend, having a say in their identity is important.

Starting with The Crow, when you first encounter your love interest, you’ll get the chance to personalize them! This won’t be like writing their character sheet, though; it’s more like improv. You share a mix of details and ideas to inspire the system, which then creates characters based on your inspiration.

In addition to picking their name, pronouns, and appearance, you'll share some ideas to inspire the system

The system then creates a new character based on your inspiration 💖

We’ll be bringing this experience to all worlds and other aspects of the game in the near future, and we can’t wait to see what you do with it!
